Lionhart, he definitely got what he deserved. He was not only waving a gun around, he was threatening a group of people with a deadly weapon. In situations where there is as strong a potential for loss of life as in this one, you have a right to protect yourself and the people around you. Skaterboy here could have had his head blown off. He acted, and protected not only himself but the innocent bystanders surrounding him. Until the man had no way of grabbing the gun again after it had been thrown from his hand he was still a threat, the best way to prevent him from grabbing the gun: knock him the fu(k out. Second best way: kill the idiot. The gun wielding coward was at least twice the size of the skater, and the group beating is justifiable. |

I've had a gun pulled at me before. I did the same thing. Just quick thinking tho, I figure if you pull out a gun then you mean to use it. So when pulling a gun out at me then I might aswell try to disarm them before they shoot me. |

Well, Army boy, I can honestly say that you were WAY off with the racial thing. In NO way was "boy" used to indicate anything related to race. My thought on why you were offended had to do with "boy" vs. "man".I never said I was in the armed forces. I do have camo, and I do have training, but I'm not a service man, not that I have anything against those who are. I have the upmost respect for those that deserve it. I do have an issue with someone who resorts to making direct insults and indirect threats to someone. Is that conduct becoming of a service man? lol... reviewing my post, it seems that a typo might have led to your temper tantrum. I intended to type Army, not Amy. |

The return of TKD Master...I seem to recall issuing a challenge to you that you avoided. I'm not perfect. Far from it in fact. Sometimes I drink too much, I've had an on-again, off-again affair with cigarettes since I was a teenager, and sometimes, I'm not very nice to my fellow human beings when they push my buttons. Bubba tried to put a racial spin on a comment I made that quite simply wasn't there, and along you come, backing him up like Captain Save-a-Troll, when your screen name alone indicates you have a penchant for talking sh*t. As far as my avatar is concerned, there are several IAB'ers and a couple of mods who know I'm legit. And there's no evidence that you're any kind of Tae-Kwon-Do "Master". It's been my experience that people who flaunt their expertise in a martial art fall into two categories: 1) They're completely full of crap. 2) They are well trained in forms, but completely useless in a real fight. |
