My younger brother actually has a growth disorder too. He's also 6' 6" and he just turned 14. They say that even though he's still young and having growth spurts he still might never stop getting taller. the saddest part is, he's so much taller than me and he only weighs 20 pounds more. |

This, in my humble opinion could be serious food for thought.What if your life was like that, you had no control over your body as far as size and weight. A pretty good reason to be thankful for what you don't have to deal with. This poor lady has my sympathies. |

@ Crawdaddy: Frankly, I don't think it's right to make snide remarks about anyone, NO MATTER what is going on with them. People who "let themselves" get so large often have other things going on in their lives, and eating is their way of dealing with the stress/anxiety. Or, maybe it's a chemical imbalance that doesn't allow them to feel full, so they keep eating and eating. They often have enablers (often spouses or parents) who let the behavior continue. It's never okay to make fun of someone because of the way they look....it's never okay to make fun of someone, period. |
