Friday, August 21, 2009 6:27:43 PM Aw, how adorable. Just imagine it biting its lover's head off when they are mating. <3. Heh... although it may be frowned upon to do so, I wouldn't mind someone stepping on that; how fast can they move? o_O |

Sunday, July 26, 2009 9:29:02 PM That's nothing. This Mantid is much meaner! Satan's Little HelperYou all have to check out the other macro photos from this same photographer. His name is 'Igor Siwanowicz' Gallery |

Tuesday, July 21, 2009 9:02:01 PM that would've been my second bet, beternal. just the image of someone pouring over random wiki sights is so much more amusing than the image of a college course |

Tuesday, July 21, 2009 2:13:30 AM I can imagine a few ways, YLE..."Oi, ugly mantis dude! Yo mamma is so fat..." Look at it. Look at the thing. It just gives off every impression that the single thought running through its tiny, grain-sized mind is, "Bring it the f**k on, bitch." |

Tuesday, July 21, 2009 2:06:40 AM mr. beternal's second favourite sight is wikipedia. with that said, i shall now comment on how freaky this thing looks and wonder how the camera man got it to pose for the pic |

Tuesday, July 21, 2009 1:17:37 AM Idolomantis diabolica (Devils Flower Mantis)That one is a male (feathery antennae) It's actually reasonably common in the pet-trade, just need to know where to look. Grows to about 4 inches but quite tricky to keep due to the temp/ humidity requirements. bugnation, insectstore, mantidkinddom, mantidforum... most of those would sell them (or have at some stage) |
