Thursday, July 16, 2009 12:45:27 AM **What I wonder is what happened for such laws to be created.**Lawsuits, no doubt. Some f*cktards hurt their stupid selves doing these things and sued the crap out of someone. It's pitiful how more and more laws get passed every day to protect idiots from themselves and eachother instead of everyone just being f*cking accountable for their own actions. |

Wednesday, July 15, 2009 4:35:22 PM Itsalwysunny: "eh I've never heard of a blood orange before this may be a dumb question but what do they taste like?"Not a dumb question, just a dumb sounding fruit. Anyway, they taste pretty much like an orange does only the red parts are a bit stronger and kinda sweet. It also depends on where they were grown, believe it or not. You can tell it's a blood orange by the rind - it's also got big red splotches.

Tuesday, July 14, 2009 11:04:22 PM They need to provide links that explain why these laws started in the first place. |

Tuesday, July 14, 2009 9:47:28 PM It seems like some of those eating while walking backwards laws probably emerged as a result of a lawsuit or something of that nature, wherein someone choked on food while at a public government function/parade and the law was the typical knee-jerk yet ineffective solution affected. But that's just IMHO |

Tuesday, July 14, 2009 9:00:55 PM "In St. Cloud:Hamburgers may not be eaten on Sundays." Well I used to go to St. Cloud on weekends and I used to eat hamburgers there on Sundays. =S |

Tuesday, July 14, 2009 8:55:19 PM I understand no. 5, but why are most of them so food specific? You cannot eat ice cream while standing on the sidewalk, but what about frozen yogurt? I call BS on most of these laws. |

Tuesday, July 14, 2009 8:15:39 PM Javhimura I do agree with the swallowing/inhaling water. But the old wives tale that you're refering to is incorrect. There is only a very small increase in blood flow to the stomach when digesting, not enough to cause cramps. The "Wait an hour until after you've eaten," is utterly useless. |

Tuesday, July 14, 2009 6:25:32 PM i support the 5th, think about it, is for safety, you could swallow up water while trying to eat and pass out, not a very nice way to do it... also is a bad idea you can get your legs or arms cramped, because the blood will be busy in ur stomach, so what comes after getting your extremities cramped in the water~ think a little |

Tuesday, July 14, 2009 4:25:04 PM ya, you think about a bunch of guys sitting at a big rectangular table all in suits, one saying "ok thats it, is i see one more person walking backwards eating a peanut at a concert im gonna snap, this is now illegal." this is understandable, but all the other people nodding in agreement? i dont get it... |

Tuesday, July 14, 2009 3:41:08 PM I could see #3 being a law because it could attract ants and stuff. But the rest are just lame. |

Tuesday, July 14, 2009 1:44:54 PM Ridiculous Texas Laws:"When two trains meet each other at a railroad crossing, each shall come to a complete stop, and neither shall proceed until the other has gone." "It is illegal to take more than three sips of beer while standing" "It is illegal to shoot buffalo from the second story of a hotel." I don't think any of these are seriously enforced. Who passes them anyway? |

Tuesday, July 14, 2009 1:37:43 PM How many of those laws are enforced? Seriously? They are probably over a hundred years old and were never taken off the books. Also, do you really believe everything on the interwebs? I do, but, do you? |
