Monday, September 14, 2009 8:19:28 PM 11/11 There are so meny incorrect answers that are claimed true here. Like the China one and the english one. The eye contact one is for a wives tale, not acknowledging existance. But it was fun none the less, just don't follow it to the T when you travel, lol.btw: the one about ketchup in france is true, it will get you kicked out of most reasturants, as will asking for the meat to be cooked all the way. Don't piss off the nation with the best food and chefs around, lol. |

Thursday, July 09, 2009 1:29:31 AM Yeah this quiz is BS too. A few of these are common sense even if you don't live there but the questions and answers are stupidly written. |

Wednesday, July 08, 2009 12:45:58 PM I've learned quite a bit about dining etiquette in other countries and I knew this quiz was bs when I got the first question wrong. |

Wednesday, July 08, 2009 1:30:59 AM "I think the Spanish one is BS. I've been to Spanish snack bars many times and I haven't seen a single person just throw everything to the floor like that. Maybe just a specific region of Spain does that, who knows."I agree with TheSharpest completely. I've also been to Spain and no one would throw their garbage on the floor, as that would be very rude to the large crowd of people standing around. |

Wednesday, July 08, 2009 1:28:23 AM Actually, my kids do, in fact, have a "right handed" fork - it curves toward the mouth when you are holding it in your right hand. If you held it in your left hand, it would curve away from the mouth. But their explanation as to why it is extremely rude to eat with the left hand in Iran is wrong. The real reason is because in ancient times they didn't have toilet paper, so the left hand was UNCLEAN (because one wiped one's ass with it) and so only the clean right hand could touch food. So, imagine if a thief has his right hand cut off...he has to eat with the same hand he wipes his ass with |
