Saturday, June 27, 2009 4:55:25 PM This is like when the saying "If a tree falls and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?". That would then lead to "If someone says a tree doesn't make a sound when it falls and no one is there to hear it, should you believe them?". I think not. Just because paparazzi say that Micheal molested young boys, it doesn't mean it's true. Some people would say that Micheal deserved to die, but really, did he? He was a legend at a time, and then he changed his appearance because he felt like it. So what? Even now, with all the Micheal Jackson jokes and rumors, his music is still appreciated and will be fo a good few generations. Personally, if an adult can't accept this, than they are either dull-witted or just plain horrid. |

Saturday, June 27, 2009 1:01:01 AM Yeesh! We don't need to be insulting lionhart's intelligence now. All he was saying is that there's a lot of stuff on this website, and most people don't want to take the time to read your essay along with the 150 other comments on this post, we have other things to look at. I did like your point mistyocean, and I agree, but I got the idea after reading two sentences. It's a good habit, and shows "capacity", to get across your point briefly, in most situations. Nobody likes a rambler. |

Friday, June 26, 2009 7:02:56 PM Ha. Ha. Ha. I'm fortunate I already know a massive number of I-A-Bers don't have the mental capability to type in long, winded sentences anyways. I just happen to be one of the lucky ones. :)Sorry that I hurt your brain, Lionhart2, I'll try REAL hard not to next time. ^_^ |

Friday, June 26, 2009 1:53:42 PM (continued.) wanted kids to treasure their childhood years, because he couldn't. Does that make him a bad person? I don't think so. And I don't think he molested little boys, either, I think those boys' parents told their kids what to say, because they wanted the power of ruining a celebrity's life for their own twisted desires. Wacky theory? Probably. But I'm fine with that. The fact of the matter is, he's gone now, and I think, more than ever, should be remembered for the message he was trying to get across(do any of you know, the dancers for "Beat It" were actually gang members of the world-known Crimson Bloods? They were gangsters, that Michael Jackson taught how to dance). But I think he should be remembered now for his peaceful message that he was trying to get across to the world, instead of what he was rumored to do. |

Friday, June 26, 2009 1:49:07 PM Personally, I don't believe the hype about him being a child-molester. That's all on the Paparazzi in my opinion. The Paparazzi tore Britney Spears apart, they're doing it to Miley Cyrus, and they did it to Michael Jackson. Thing is - he was an idol, and in being so, had to be perfect. When he made a mistake, the paparazzi went ape-poo, and exploded those mistakes to the public eye as something unforgiveable. Even though he was human, just like the rest of us were. He made mistakes. He was supposed to make mistakes. But it's rather unfair to say one way or another what type of person he was, and what he did in his spare time because the only one who knew that was himself, and his family, in other cases.I believe, and will hold to it - he had a shady life. He never really got to be a kid having been involved in the Jackson Five and then his life exploding into demanding publicity. So, taht said, can you blame him for wanting to create a safe haven for kids all over? He probably |

Friday, June 26, 2009 1:15:02 PM Also - "Dead August 29, 1958 - Today" <-- He hasn't really been dead for nearly 51 years has he? Perhaps white Jacko was a ghost. |

Friday, June 26, 2009 1:11:09 PM He was a bit wierd, but his music is quite brilliant, so he'll be missed, and hopefully remembered for his music, not for, er, children. But that's partly down to the media I guess.I think over time he'll overtake Kurt Cobain as the richest dead celebrity. |

Friday, June 26, 2009 10:15:27 AM Boadicea put it the best, I think.I think it's sad when anyone dies.. Because even if they grew up to be.. odd (which I guess is stil in 'question' for MJ) they were normal at one point.. I probably could've worded that better.. |

Friday, June 26, 2009 9:43:31 AM I've gotta say that while he did creep me out on many levels (acquitted or not..) the man was undeniably the king of pop and made a gigantic and everlasting impression on music, and was one talented mofo. So it sucks that the world lost that kind of talent. On the other hand, his life seemed pretty tragic so maybe it's good that he can finally have some peace. (And maybe Paul McCartney can get some of his drating songs back now). |
