Saturday, June 27, 2009 1:59:33 AM I agree with Ska, sure it's probably a bit harder to do with a sword but not that much of a difference. |

Saturday, June 27, 2009 1:18:01 AM Is this another one of those videos where they set things up specifically to aid the "ninja/samuri/godwarrior" and don't show the 20 outtakes? |

Friday, June 26, 2009 9:55:29 PM sorry, but isnt that the same as being able to hit a baseball with a bat? I understand that drawing the sword adds a bit of difficulty, but it seems like any little league baseball playing kid could do that.Just sayin' |

Friday, June 26, 2009 9:13:35 PM coeshcoesh, they hvae subtitles because different parts of japan have different dialects, so its there to help you understand. i think.its like italy. each region, hell each town, has different dialects. but there is a uniform italian which most can understand |

Friday, June 26, 2009 5:53:57 PM Anyone who thinks they can do this at the batting cages of the local amusement center is kidding themselves, who knows how many years this man has trained. |

Friday, June 26, 2009 5:49:34 PM "But why isn't anyone pointing out the obvious? If the Japanese can do THIS, why do they suck at baseball?"They won the World Baseball Classic that included an all-star team from the U.S. and all the baseball loving Latin American countries. So, they're pretty good.

Friday, June 26, 2009 5:46:29 PM You know, I think I could do that. Especially with a pitching machine that throws the ball straight and almost in the same place everytime. All you need is one solid hit and with the ball going so fast, it would do most of the work. I may have to swing the sword like a baseball bat, but I think I could do it. Probably not though, but it doesn't seem that difficult. Let see him do it with a curveball. |

Friday, June 26, 2009 3:09:11 PM I don't think i'm the first one to notice, but why do Japanese people have subtitles of something in their own language? they must be deaf then.

Friday, June 26, 2009 11:34:28 AM it would be easier since the sword is most balanced and has a fast swing speed. but still cool

Friday, June 26, 2009 10:59:53 AM Is it that much harder to hit a ball with a sword than it is with a bat? BTW, a pitching machine makes enough noise that you can predict 1-2 sec. in advance exactly when the ball is coming, so he can start drawing the sword before the ball is released. This also could have been 1 of 20 takes. |

Friday, June 26, 2009 10:55:51 AM Am I the only one who had to pause the video after the first swing to read what it said? probably. It read: "one strike, one strike" and "nice swing, nice swing". I don't know why they had to say it twice.Still, the previous post with this guy was more impressive. |
