I work part time at a daycare in my area and I'm going to take this idea to the manager. How much fun would it be for a bunch of kids to flavor and shake their own ice cream. It would be a good activity because they can customize it to what they want and feel a sense of accomplishment for making their own ice cream =)
See...this method has its uses! |

Just tried it.Make sure your smaller bag doesn't have any holes...the salt water will get into your ice cream..and I'll be the first to tell you...its nasty. But I'm pretty sure it would have tasted good w/ out the salt lol. |

I'm with je-scream on this one, Get a ice cream churne. Or, Instead of making ice cream, Get a blender and some fresh fruit and ice and make icee drinks. Add some milk and you get smoothies. |

je_scream, the whole idea I had behind the submission was of these simple elements:1) Summer is hot and miserable at times.
2) People like ice cream.
3) Economy (nuff said)
4) Kids (term used loosely) tend to get very bored.
5) I had personal experience, and it was fun. |
