Sunday, August 09, 2009 12:10:49 AM It's great to know that in the world there are corporations that don't completely suck. Kudos to Pixar for doing the right thing! This story totally brought tears to my eyes. |

Monday, June 22, 2009 10:10:30 AM For those who think this was nothing but a PR stunt, note the fact that "Pixar officials refused to comment on the story". If they were doing it for the PR, don't you think they would have had a nice self-aggrandizing statement prepared? FWIW I've met a few of the top people at Pixar, and they are not corporate suit types *at all*. John Lasseter and Andrew Stanton are friendly and outgoing, much more concerned with the craft of animation than any of the business crap. And Joe Ranft (RIP) was probably The Nicest Guy Who Ever Lived, ask anybody who knew him. |
