I just need my phone for calls, texts, some short notes (not necessary though), music (maybe), and perhaps a camera (if you ask, I don't think I'll say know, but I'm not sure).
Why the need for all the fancy-pancy stuff other than that? |

I'm with you computron. I mean games, apps and all that poo. Who the drat has all that time for those silly things. I need my phone to ring and send my texts. I cannot believe people sit in line at 4am to get a PHONE? REALLY? Then have to go and buy ANOTHER phone a few months later for the "upgraded" version. You guys are making Steve Jobs richer. It's a shame... |

i dont see any reason to upgrade, i like my 3g just fine, even though i kinda feel like a douche when i use my iphone in public :D |

i loved the iphone, but now apple is just pissing me off...i still have the first 4gb iphone and everyday i feel like i'm getting ripped-off by apple...the average person (such as myself) doesn't have hundreds of $$ to piss-away and give to apple...so f apple, i'm going back to my blackberry... sorry IABers for exposing you to my rant... |

Love my iPhone... thought I would never need one, but having the full internet (not the portable kind the blackberry has), plus the thousands of games, gps, music etc etc etc... priceless!!Ok, maybe not priceless, it's about $69 a month! |

"Considering getting an iPhone myself... but what you just said covers ANY phone, not just the iPhone. Think about it....good, didn't want you to have that self righteous feeling that you accuse iPhone owners of because you are biased. Me? Why would I chose the iPhone? Because I can. (Coming from someone who usually plays devil's advocate.) Why not, it is one of the sweetest phones on the market right now, and has more features than you need...erm that was my tech geek side speaking... |

this all seems really pointless and not even cool lol the itouch is way better. screw the iphone. itouch has everything for cheaper and then you can just get a cheap phone. make something USEFUL on the iphone! like the ability to actually make USE of the dratting internet. as in videos, online music and games. THEN ill take a second/third look haha |
