Sunday, June 21, 2009 9:01:09 PM He's going to be a nurse. Wouldn't it be great if 20 or 30 years from now, she ends up in the hospital under his care?"I think we're going to need the extra extra large catheter here followed by a 6-liter ice-cold enema." Hee hee. |

Sunday, June 21, 2009 5:36:04 PM Going too slow has nothing to do with it; I graduated recently with a large class and the people in charge stressed the fact that you could take your time walking across the stage so people could get pics, because really, it's one of the most important moments of your life. If it runs over a little bit, no one really cares (except obnoxious people in the audience, who should be ignored anyway). People should be allowed to make gestures or poses as long as they aren't obscene. It makes watching the ceremony bearable. |

Some day, I will have some snappy come back for them that will make them rethink a new career."Well you can always give her a call. I posted her phone number before. |

Friday, June 19, 2009 6:34:01 PM Kid did his four years and earned his diploma. I'm sure they mailed it to him in the end. Just as I'm sure that during that same four years the superintendent had much bigger problems to contend with compared to what the kid did. Finally, if it were me, I'd spend the summer coming to with a way to be as big a douche to the super as payback, then post it on I-A-B as well. |

Friday, June 19, 2009 11:02:55 AM If he simply blew a kiss as he walked by there would be no problem. but he paused, blew the kiss, bowed and then pulled out the necklace thing he felt he had to hide until that moment. They had 400 kids to get across that stage. He slowed the flow. |

Friday, June 19, 2009 10:06:38 AM "he did nothing that could be considered distasteful."I beg to differ...it clearly WAS considered distasteful, even if it wasn't by you personally... "I consider this to be a bad decision on the superintendent's part." Again, I'd like to disagree...HE made the decision to act like an idiot...therefore the bad decision was HIS. |

Friday, June 19, 2009 9:00:17 AM Ridiculous. Just give him his damn award. There was no "fooling around", he just blew a kiss to his family. There's nothing wrong with that. |

Friday, June 19, 2009 6:42:31 AM Who blows a kiss to their mom anyways? Maybe it wasn't necessary or mature as some people are saying, and how it's to show maturity and being grown up, but I think it was too much to not give him a diploma for it. They could of passed it by like nothing happened. |

Friday, June 19, 2009 6:16:08 AM "These occasions are meant to show how grown up and educated the students are...this kid, I'm afraid, showed no signs of that. You're meant to receive your award in a professional and ceremonial fashion...not as if you're a rapper on stage. Truth hurts." The kid is graduating high school...do you remember that feeling? he did nothing that could be considered distasteful. I consider this to be a bad decision on the superintendent's part. |

Friday, June 19, 2009 4:10:03 AM "I would have cracked the poo's right there on stage if they'd done that to me, thats silly!" <---- Would have been all the more reason to get your diploma refused, although I'd feel the urge to do the very same if that happened to me. |
