MIght i add on this topic, they now want to change the term "smoko" aka lunh break to "quitto" so it doesnt promote smoking. Let ppl be ppl and do what they want! they know the risks! |

Nothing grosses me out anymore after watching a French documentary on the Holocaust with actual footage of almost everything they did to the Jews. :( |

I like it, much better than the American (maybe else where too?) one where a girl tries a cigarette and a claw comes out of her neck and makes her smoke. Yeah, I've tried a cigarette and I puked, you aren't addicted from the first puff. |

I don't think it's too much for kids to see, because some people start smoking at a VERY young age. I once saw a thirteen year old sharing a smoke with an eight year old. And even for people who don't smoke, they know why they shouldn't start smoking. People have said these ads don't work, and someone said that they key is to not get addicted in the first place. That's true. Kids see this, they won't. It's better to see these ads before you get addicted. |

well personally i think these ads are just plain old dumb. people know what it does, they know its bad. and yet they SHOULD have the freedom to choose what the want to do with their goddamn lives. but no, the government has to raise taxes on smokes just to be dicks. why should the governement have and concern with your health, or even more a decision in how healthy you are. YOUR BODY YOUR CHOICE. F_UCK OFF ANTI SMOKING/ DRINKING PEOPLES. |

Too far? NO!I LOVE these things that freak you out, especially the British car wreck ones. American ones are "Wear your seatbelt, or else you'll get a ticket." British ones are "Wear your seatbelt, or all of these horrifying deadly things will happen to you." Drives the point home better in my opinion. |

My mom just quit smoking this past year. She smoked my entire life, and I have very bad asthma. I have been trying to get her to stop since I was five years old, the only thing that got her to stop was my recent hospitalization. Its really hard for people to stop. I hate smoking. I have been around smokers my entire life, and I wish there were some laws about the substances they put in cigarettes. |
