now he needs to make it follow you with voice commands and bring you stuff with its robotic arm. If it can be full functionally and have rocket boosters i would pay 200,000 for one lol seriously!

This is a club for people making their own, not a business. That $10k estimate is the parts budget. If you want to pay someone to build one for you, it'll cost a lot more.

"naw... for $10k it better be a midget in a can making blooping noises."

It takes 3 years to make one of these, they should really be charging more... I guess they make a lot of them at the same time...

"Its flashy, expensive and useless. Sounds like a mac."
poo, mate. I couldn't have said something better.

I am a huge Star Wars fan, but I wouldn't pay for that.
Not because it's really drating expensive, but because it just novelty.
I would prefer a miniature, anytime.
The problem is that it is pretty hard to find this kind of thing where I live.

They could have saved a lot of trouble by being original instead and make their own original robot.

It's just a prettified garbage can with lot's of expensive devices that the guy purchased and put inside. And he wants you to pay $10,000 for it...

If anyone do buy one I pitty that guy. You could buy a sophisticated Roomba or a good HD movie projector instead you know.

It's R2-D2 and a home stereo for $10,000.

I could think of better uses for 10 grand, But they are eluding me at the moment. hehehe

175-200 lbs is not like a linebacker. That guy must not watch football and I think it may be because he's at a robot convention.
