Monday, June 01, 2009 12:26:04 AM tuxman4 Your a drating retard. If we don't use monkeys to infect and test medicine on then we can either test on people or let sick people die. More human lives are saved than monkeys and mice killed. Have you ever heard of the great plague. Imagine the dense population centers of today with no means to combat disease. |

Sunday, May 31, 2009 7:59:34 AM All I have to say is that those damn genetic scientists better hurry up!! The robotics people are kicking their asses. We're gonna need superhumans to battle the robots when they decide it's time to take over... And you probably think I'm kidding... |

Sunday, May 31, 2009 7:32:01 AM I think we are past the point of "this is unethical" since we have been breeding mice without immunities and testing infectious diseases on monkeys. |

Saturday, May 30, 2009 11:14:23 PM all they did was take a gene from a jellyfish (which makes it glow) and transferred it to the monkeys. The only real detriment to the monkeys would be that, if the were in the wild, they'd be easily spotted. (also i think the was something similar with glowing cats...) |

Saturday, May 30, 2009 9:12:02 PM Ehhh...I have strong feelings against animal testing. The usual points really. They have no choice in the matter, they're not for us to be testing drugs and chemicals and stuff on......yet on the other hand if it does help cure Alzheimers and such it would be productive... ...but why can't we test on humans?
You can't use the "Ethics" argument here. That's been invalidated already. |

Saturday, May 30, 2009 3:45:29 PM vv "I want to write a typical two-part IAB rant on how wrong it is to experiment on animals".I respectfully disagree, fellow IABer, and quote the great Nick DiPaulo: "If hooking a car battery up to a monkey's brain will help find the cure for AIDS and save human lives, I have only two things to say: red is positive and black is negative". |

Saturday, May 30, 2009 3:17:41 PM I want to laugh, but on the other hand I want to write a typical two-part IAB rant on how wrong it is to experiment on animals...I think I'll just shrug and laugh it off for today. (It's a weekend.) |

Saturday, May 30, 2009 2:30:24 PM Awesome. But don't tell PETA, otherwise they'll rescue the monkeys, and we know what happens to the animals PETA rescues... |
