It was used derogitarily in the 70s but i think its pretty much excepted as common slang these days |

The word WOG is slang! but so is YANK, FROG, CURRY and AUSSIE, AUSTRALIAN are happy to be called Aussie, AND NOTE FOR "THE MADDOG" Australia is the most Multicultural country in the world. and happy to have them! |

According to Wiki... it's the UK version of the N word... but to the Aussies it's a more generic racial slur towards Southern Europeans, Eastern Europeans, or Middle Easterners. |
