You all saying "yeah they had it pretty much spot on" the basic idea yes, the technology to accomplish it, far from it.

"This video console will be channelled into the store of her choice, there a camera will scan a display of wares which she will select by push button."

yeah...cameras in stores around the world scanning stuff, good luck with that.

There are mini touchscreen monitors on the market! They actually got a lot of that right!

I like her 3-monitor setup. That would be sweet.

How come everyone's version of the future has the exact same fashion and morals and ethics as the present, but the technology is infinitely superior?

Seriously.

Just what I needed. Eerie foresight into the future with a subtle sexist aura.

Wouldn't you love to get into a time machine and go back to 1969. Seems so primative now.

another thing: They almost got it right...they missed the part where hubby is busy surfing internet porn sites

I love the husband's expression when he pays for his wife's shopping.

The screen perspective was totally wrong, the images on the screen were square and not smaller at one end from the viewing angle. (looks like the images were pasted onto the video as an overlay)

Well obviously they had computers and the internet when they made this..., and they just made this to confuse us all.

FYI interactive whiteboards are only useful with a back up ordinary white board, no matter how hard they try, they never feel right to write on and are only really good if you are well into your ICT. This of course means re writing all your resources to reflect this interactivity. Personally when teaching I present on the IWB and write on the ordinary whiteboars, but do more on the ordinary whiteboard.
