I'm sure nature didn't intend ducklings to leap twelve feet onto concrete from those elevated nests, kids.Be smart and snotty about it all you want but concrete sidewalks are somewhat harder than the ground. |

Note, that that is jumping into a pile of leaves, which are on the ground. That and the fact that is about the same height, maybe slightly taller then the one in that vid. |

He didn't save anything. That's completely normal duck behaviour. Lots of baby ducks have to jump from trees even higher than that. He's just interfering.
