I was reading about those rocks in Costa Rica the other day.
They are believed to be ancient turtle egg sculptures, that the artisans were paying an homage to the reproductive output of sea turtles. |

Am I the only one who thought the first picture was, perhaps, some sort of illustration of the fallopian tubes and such?As for the "Bloop," for all we know, it could have been some undiscovered water creature. I'm sure there's tonnes of species we have yet to even know about. |
