Tilt-shift is awesome. So is Vimeo. Coolest thing I have ever seen in my entire life was one day, I was watching Palladia (MTVHD), and they had this cutscene, and it was late, and I was baked..... Google "Vimeo crow" and watch it in full screen highdef with GOOD speakers / headphones. Its not nearly as cool (lower quality) than if you catch it on HD TV, but it blew my mind. |

Tilt-shift uses special lenses or computer-generated effects to change the depth of field so everything seems smaller. It's pretty friggin' awesome. |

What is tilt animation? Is it like, filming it, then dissecting away some pictures making it look like a stop-motion thing? |

does anyone know exactly what tilt-shift refers too?all it looks like is relatively high speed time-lapse with exaggerated colors and very shallow depth of field.
as "advanced" as that may sound, it actually isn't that complicated. It does look like there might be more too it, anyone know for sure? |

BrandNewHero, this is real footage. Tilt-shifting uses a special lens to change the plane of focus, making it have a 'miniature' feel. (It can also be computer-generated, of course)The artist has been doing videos like these for about 8 months. they are called "little australia", the other videos are even better than this one. |
