it would take more time to strap the sheep in than shear it normally. smart technology but its a kinda fail with a bit of animal cruelty as well |

400 hunder over that many years??? are you effing KIDDING me? people shear that many in a DAY. and btw, the sheep being Sedated doesnt make it less bad, it's ALWAYS ALWAYS dangerous to sedate an animal, and it's not good for them. it wreckless and stupid, and i've never heard of such inefficiency |

Have to agree, It doesn't look very efficient a shearer doing this by hand does this much much faster. But the fact that they have programmed a robot to do this (Without hurting the sheep) is a feat in it's own right. |

the title doesnt make sense, and this is why -_grammar nazi mode: on_- 'robot sheep shearing', this means shearing sheep of the robotic kind. because sheep is after robot, thus robot describes sheep. however, if it were 'sheep shearing robot' that would make much more sense. however even that one has a minor flaw, it can be read as a sheep that is shearing a robot, but at least this one can be partly correct in the fact that 'sheep shearing' can describe the robot. meh, i woulda just went with 'robotic sheep shearing' aaaand end grammar nazi. |

nice experiment, but people do better and faster, as to reduce the stress on the animal, this sheep had been doped up to with stand this process |
