Thursday, April 30, 2009 3:24:07 PM woa woa woa the european country he might be from could be england and if so then yea we have dealt with terrorist attacks too ya know. plenty of guys planting bombs in the subway in backpacks and they even went so far as to drive a car bomb into the front of 1 of our major trainstations and blow it up. i'd learn about other countries first before you make claims like that. your not the only ones dealing with poo like that. |

Thursday, April 30, 2009 12:59:59 PM I disagree being worried would be blowing this out of proportion. The planes were flying very low, it is unusual and people have a logic behind being worried about that after 9/11. I don't live in the US, I'm from near Toronto, now if I seen a plane like that coming towards something like the C.N tower for example I'd be running. Only to find out it was for a picture later would piss me off. |

Thursday, April 30, 2009 5:42:01 AM @AzderielI still say you're blowing smoke...but it's not worth arguing about. Clearly you are far superior to me and I'm just another stupid American blowing yet another situation out of proportion. ***rolls eyes*** |

Wednesday, April 29, 2009 10:12:59 PM @DarthJay No DarthJay, YOU would stop to say "WTF are those aircraft doing in a NO-FLY zone!!" while many others, like myself, could tell it was an escort formation and not really anything to be alarmed about. If you read any of my posts you would see that I feel people have the right to their own opinion but mine just happens to be that it's a little silly to blow such a thing as a plane flying over New York out of proportion. You have your opinion, I have mine. That's fine but if you start telling me that I'll never understand because I'm a stupid European, then I'm going to tell you to shut the **** up. Not saying you said that, but previous posters did. |

Wednesday, April 29, 2009 9:29:03 PM @AzderielWhatever you are smoking, you should really stop...it's killing off the few brain cells you have left. 1) When you see any aircraft flying in a NO-FLY zone, you don't stop and say, "Hmmm...is that an escort or a chase" - you say, "WTF are those aircraft doing in a NO-FLY zone!!" 2) I never said anyone who had seen 9/11 would always be paranoid. I said that anyone who had witnessed 9/11 would be "anywhere from overly concerened to panicked" to see a passenger jet with a F-16 chasing it in a freaking NO-FLY zone over the city. 3) Don't even get me started about your piss-poor analogy. 4) No reason to panic?! Okay - just put yourself in the situation for a minute...seriously. Drop the macho bull and just try it. You know that the financial district of New York is a NO-FLY zone - period. If you suddenly see a 747 flying through it a low altitude, you're really going to go back to what you were doing and say, "Meh - it's |

Wednesday, April 29, 2009 5:03:48 PM the one thing i tend to find amusing is that you all take thius comment page quite seriously and think that every word i say are my actual beliefs and values. |

Wednesday, April 29, 2009 4:12:18 PM To compare the feelings to that of a child is a little off I think though. A child lacks the full understanding of another's opinion which a fully grown adult should be able to get. I do see where you are coming from. Again, I just happen to disagree. |

Wednesday, April 29, 2009 4:07:14 PM Hmm... it's a little bit different than that. Understandably you'd have to be either pro-life or pregnant to understand that. However, I think saying 'Your fear is stupid, get over it' is unnessecary and offensive. It's like telling a little kid to get over being scared of the dark. Just saying it irritates them because they know that not only do you not understand their feelings, but you don't sympathize. There is also an air of irritation that is read. Doesn't matter if it's really there or not. It's how it's read. The people who aren't over it feel the same way that you do. They feel they are being attacked, so they attack back. It comes from people not understanding one another. |

Wednesday, April 29, 2009 3:59:13 PM @Saraneth Perhaps, but in my opinion they still have no right to insult someone for believing in abortion even if they are offended by their beliefs. |

Wednesday, April 29, 2009 3:51:27 PM Azderiel, that's like asking a pro-life person not to get offended when a pro-choice person says something about abortion. It's just not going to happen. They all depend on our military. So let's just call it 'The United States of We Decided to Take Your Ass Over, Too.' Then we'll be all good. |

Wednesday, April 29, 2009 3:37:40 PM No but it means the people who are not over it shouldn't automatically flame the ones who feel they should get over it. That's been my point all along. |

Wednesday, April 29, 2009 3:35:47 PM Sigh. There was a point to that statement. Nitpicking is ridiculous. Do you understand the point? Maybe I think you should all get over the holocaust (I do not actually believe this, I am using it to prove a point.) There are many that share my belief. Does that mean that the people who are not 'over it' should just agree? No. That is the point I am trying to prove. It seems to be going WAY over your head. |

Wednesday, April 29, 2009 3:31:34 PM amonamarth20, I'm glad their is someone here who has the intelligence to understand that.Saraneth, maybe I have been a little harsh in my words, for that much I apologise. However I stand by the fact that it's a joke that when anyone comes here from another nation and says Americans need to get over 911 they immediately get flamed for it and told we would never understand as if 911 was the worst thing to happen to humanity. Historicity speaking what happened at 911 is NOTHING compared to what other nations have been through. Not saying it was nothing but in comparison that could be said. |
