that was like a textbook emergency right there, beautiful landing(and perfect conditions, really, how often do you see a six lane road with only a half dozen cars on it?). on another note, the guy on the right has a headset like mine(the yellow one), only I think he's wearing it backwards. |

That was an amazing job. As a pilot one of the first things you're taught is what to do if your engine goes out and you have to make an emergency landing, and he performed perfectly. I just hope that I can do the same if I ever get put in that situation. |

@ router52000 "Id rather fly a brick than a homebuilt aircraft."Although the plane is home-built, I would reckon the engine was store-bought, which means that this could happened to any plane. It sounded like he might have had a partially clogged fuel line or some water in the fuel. However, if you have a big enough engine, you can get a brick to fly. Just look at the F-117.
