One time I found a patch of four-leaf clovers right in front of my house. I'm pretty sure there were 5, 6 and probably 7 and 8 leaf clovers in there too... I know it's hard to believe, but I believe that my house now has a charm placed over it. |

Hmm I heard that the black cat one was because people at the time didn't like the colour black (black = night = evil) so whenever a black cat was born, they'd just toss it out and it would become stray. Then the recluded old hermit-type "witches" would adopt them when no-one else would. So these "witches" had black cats, and witches were considered evil, so black cats were aswell. |

Cracked always inexplicably omits "gun control" from these sorts of lists. It bugs me.Well, not this particular one, because "gun control saves lives" is certainly a myth, but it doesn't have much of an explanation at all. |

I dont find cats creepy when they stare at you but then again my cat does it sitting on my chest and then usually licks my nose.Then again mabey he's trying to eat my brain.

(Anyone notice the advertisement for "The God That Wasn't There" book up there? Kinda funny in that "here we go again 'offensive'" way.)One of my closest friends is scared pooless over black cats. We were walking through the neighborhood when one crossed the street. He wouldn't move for like five minutes...it was cute. XD |
