That is true about drugs having a different effect on people. Codiene based usually knocks people out but it makes me really...awake. Sure the girl's definitely looped and is unwittingly vamping it up for the camera. And a humorous bedside manner from anyone in the medical profession rocks! |

Laighten up people. When I was in labor and I was high on the drugs they gave me, the doctors and nurses made fun of me. And to be honest I was scared, they made me feel better about the situation I was in. If they were all serious, I would have been scared more. It's called bed side manner, making the pataint feel like they will be ok. |

From what I can glean from this video, the girl is an injured athlete in prep for surgery. She has been administered sodium penathol. The woman in the blue smock to her left is an RN or LPN, and seems to be yucking it up with the girl behind the camera. Any professional medical practitioner would have told the girl filming this to leave. The pre-op phase of surgery is to keep the patient still, calm and stable. This nurse is clearly not acting in a professinal manner. Hmm... the next Kristy Hammonds? First pizza, now health care... Oops! I didn't think this would ever make it to the internet. |

When I got my wisdom teeth out and was held in recovery, I kept singing Harry Connick Jr. songs. I also would peak around the other patient's curtains telling them I was going to kill them. My mum was laughing her arse off!There were no camera phones in the day....sniff! sniff! |

Oh my god.o-o I got my wisdom teeth out and I was trying so hard not to do or say anything weird. The only odd thing after surgery I did was ask questions over and over and try to explain that the ceiling was moving. But other than that my face was half numb, so I'm sure that helped. |
