well first off i don't feel bad for them. what kind of pigs would do that to themselves.... i take it back, pigs are more hygienic than these people. my god... i'm supposed to feel bad for them?!? that's ridiculous. i would never allow my home to be that grotesque. they just throw their trash into their water... they just throw everything everywhere.... i think that they did that to themselves and now they're gonna have to pay the consequences. maybe once enough of their babies die in that squalor they'll straighten up... doubtful but possible. the only one i felt sorry for was the dog.
and not to sound racists or anything but "we" would never let that happen.
even the kids are looking around like, what the hell did you people do!
i don't feel sorry for these people and i wouldn't lift a finger to help them. Darwin at his finest if you ask me. |

Wellin my opinion it's not an ideal place to live and raise families but it needn't be as bad if they all worked together and cleaned it up instead of using the front of their houses as a big rubbish dump....seriously, if they don't care then why should we? They must have so much time on their hands, presumably with no tv, computers etc so what do they do with all that time? Not make a better living enviroment for their children! All of our houses and streets would be like this if none of us did anything!! So come on 3rd worlders, instead of just sitting in your own scum get off your asses and clean up a little!! |

In America (and a LOT of other countries) we have homeless as well, we just have laws against them trying to squat/live in landfills looking for recycled goods and freebies. I think that if such a thing were allowed, we'd have quite similar pictures. Hypocrites that we are, we love to pretend we don't have a homeless problem while bleeding our hearts out for other countries on the internet. People love to pretend they're such humanitarians. They take the time to write a comment on how horrible the situation is and yet never lift a finger in real life to help. They'll forget about visiting the link which caught their ADD-prone attention span for a whopping 5 minutes (long enough to write an opinion and forget it.). Yeah yeah, Slumdog Millionaire won the Oscars and this is the "in topic" for 2009. Next year, you'll all be crying over something else Hollywood shows you (while doing nothing, having forgotten all about India. Meh. |

So...here are the solutions based on many of the IAB experts.1) No more kids. They're not allowed, and should be ashamed of themselves in the first place. New laws need to be enforced to keep them from breeding. 2) No more litter. Litter will be heavily fined and be coldly enforced (prison, fines, corporal punishment, etc). 3) Organize a massive rubbish removal plan with the support of community and local organizers, and the enforcement of the world community. 4) Give them home improvement grants and "work for welfare" jobs painting roads and cleaning sewers. Offer them grants from the arts. 5) Bulldoze. Fancypants: Can you get this off the ground for us? The people have spoken. |

no matter how bad the conditions how poor they are, they all have one thing in common. their values. they live with their family for life. they have more important things in life than wealth.
these conditions will make anyone realize this. so all you people at your computer.make the most of what you have before its too late. you family is more precious than you think. |

this has been there since India was there. why cant these stupid westerners show the wealthy or average people of India? India has lot of treasures ad beuaty. i am from India. we don't need your pity. yes we get the point. there are slums. i know YOU get the point too. now show the extravagant palaces and average middle class people's houses ( huge) and the scenery of northern, southern, weastern and eastern India.

garbage disposal and their ALL happy. 1. temporarily move the people to a temporary home.
2. bulldoze the houses and put long lasting houses in an organized way about the same size as they were.
3. move them back in and start a garbage disposal service. the politicians there say they can get the country only so far. but they care about their dignity too much. they dont do anything. anything at all. they dont touch the stuff thats already there resulting in building that are hundreds of years old. and 10 years old. and 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 years old. that means no space, and that means no success as a counry. i am from near mumbai. i know what its like. these are the things they need to do. NOW. |
