Saturday, May 02, 2009 12:17:22 AM and no, to us it isn't cruel, we know the cat will, or is supposed to be, fine and that we're just tyring to clean it. the cat, however, doesn't know this and freaks out because its in an enclosed space with something it hates. it was pawing n jumping to be let out n that just makes it sad.. |

Sunday, April 19, 2009 10:10:21 AM That isn't very nice the poor cat was scared ok so it didnt kill it but it frightened the hell out of it, cats hate anything like that and it could have died of a heart attack (literally) if it was an old cat or kitten lucky it was a healthy cat. not a good idea though cats rarely ever need a bath they wash themselves and if they do get dirty u just clean them with a cloth not put them in a nazi washing machine!! |

Sunday, April 19, 2009 1:20:49 AM Okay first off like others have said its not cruel. Okay the cat is in an enclosed space but its just getting sprayed with water. Like others have said cats' might not like water but its not going to hurt them. Also all of you PETA supporters who say this is animal cruelty. In the past year how many animals in PETA's care have they put to death? Last year alone at their head quarters in Virgina they killed 95% of the cats and dogs in their care. So how about you PETA people stop being hypocrites. Sorry didn't mean to go on a rant just can't stand hypocrisy. Back on topic it was a cute funny video and the cat didn't suffer any permanent harm. So lighten the heck up people. |

Saturday, April 18, 2009 3:44:16 AM lol here comes the great cat argument again. Its only water right...?? It was probably stinking up the owners home because a cat bath is just it licking itself. Smelly cat. |

Saturday, April 18, 2009 12:30:50 AM And by the way, before saying "thts da crulist ting ev4", you should go on some sites other than YouTube and check out some REAL animal cruelty videos, then you will realize that this is nothing more than a cat being bathed.I have seen 2 or 3 sickening animal cruelty videos, and those are some of the worse videos I have ever watched online... |

Saturday, April 18, 2009 12:27:05 AM "this si the cruelst thing i have evr seen. U cant treat animals like this. all u people who thinks its funny can go shove it up your f u c k i n g a s s" Calm down, man It's just water, not like it's gonna die
Now go back to your PETA and your animal awareness posters and you lying on the streets and protesting, and leave IAB alone.

It's cruel because he doesn't like it? Maybe you should go finish third grade so you can spell better before deciding to be the judge of what's right and what's wrong on the internet. |

Friday, April 17, 2009 9:59:23 AM whatever star, cats can be evil little sobs when it comes to baths. I got bit washing my cat so hard I got an infection and untreated could have lost my hand. I wish I owned one of these beautiful machines to make bathing easy! |

Friday, April 17, 2009 6:10:17 AM Cats have personalities, just like people do. My cat needed to be bathed once because she got fleas, and upon contact with the bathtub this normally sweet and cuddly kitteh turned into a blender with a heartbeat. On the other side we had a friend's Perser that if you left any tap on, it would go sit under it until it was absolutely soaked and then, if left alone, go shake it off on the nearest person.Cruel as it may seem, cats do need the occasional bath to remove fleas, eau de skunk and such, and when they do this would be very handy to have. |

Friday, April 17, 2009 3:14:21 AM I actually heard of a cool trick from a pet groomer when it comes to bathing angry cats in the tub for an emergency.......if you have an old window screen somewhere, put it in the tub with them...they'll hang on to it like mad and will keep them from sinking their little claws into you instead. |

Friday, April 17, 2009 3:05:55 AM Well.. you would probably freak out a bit too if you were put in a box that seems to be filling with water. But yes, sometimes cats do need to be cleaned and can be real bastards about it. I remember once when my cat decided to be nuts and run about. Ran straight into some wet paint. Obviously not wanting him to lick it off we deciced to try bath him.Never AGAIN!!! I can tell you now that as cruel and unusual as this pet spa thing is if you had offered it to me in that moment when he was scratching the poo out of me I would have thrown the little f**ker ing there without giving it a second thought. Though in retrospect if you want to bathe your cat then cut it's claws first. Save yourself a lot of hassle. |
