Omg. In a way, thats racism, and its like saying : Just erase your whole family tree, because we can't say their names, because your name and surname are yours, and they were given to you by your parents, and you should carry your surname on as far as you can, to make your family history. Why doesn't she change her name, or change her face because we can't look at her properley, because shes too damn ugly and wrinkly, just to make it easier for us? This is just lazyness,racism,and pur ignorance,especially coming from a probably highly respected politician. As people have said, shes quite happily keeping the stereo-typical 'redneck' alive, huh? |

lmao, if im correct....i'm pretty sure alot of asians change their names when they come to america, or atleast use a nickname, my father did and so did his friends. i think this lady can say this about other races too. i think asian names are pretty easy to read though...i've seen harder ones to read that are from different countries |

lol leave it to the Texans to ignore the story and take issue with the last half of the caption because it's about Texas (which rocks btw)! If there is one thing actually wrong with TX, its the feverish, knee-jerking pride with which the people talk about their state. Maybe if we just let if be it's own country, then it's citizens would be easier for Americans to deal with...

People can knock the great state of Texas all they want. They see a couple of backwards people and immediately assume that we are all like that. That's called hate, discrimination, and prejudice people! Time to let go of those things folks! Besides...it really doesn't matter because Texas is the best state anyway! Don't believe me? How many other states could survive alone as an independent country??? One. That would be Texas! No other state in the US could make such a claim! |
