To everyone saying it's their right to smoke..my parents smoke in my garage. My pregnant sister can't even walk out there, I have to hold my breathe if I want to, and that's where one of our refrigerators is, so it isn't like it's a low traffic area. God Forbid I have a friend with Asthma over and they walk out there. Not to mention that I have problems breathing some times, and I worry that it may be part of a bigger problem caused by my parents smoking. So yeah. It's not about you. It's about the other people you hurt with your second hand smoke. Until you can find a secluded area where nobody else can ever be affected, you shouldn't be smoking. |

pretty much all smokers die of smoking when their kids are well into their late 20s-30s. and if you can't be in an airport without your mother by then, well.. |

Yeah Ausiguy I know - I tried patches but I have a bad reaction to them because of the glue they use to stick makes my whole arm feel like its on fire. I am actually down to 5 cigarettes a day. I think it's gonna happen this time because cigarettes here are now $6 a pack and I cant really afford them. |

smoking, i thought that was for population control? Red's are my favorite, but i couldnt smoke all the time, people should think of smoking like a treat, the Buzz is Fantastic |

We smokers are being ridiculed, discriminated and insulted, often by non-smoking bigots who have no idea what it's like to be addicted.
Of course it's still a choice, but if you're condemning me for it, you sure aren't helping. drat you, I hate that kid. |

Of course it was justified. Smokers need to know how their smoking can affect their children and family. Because decades of it being crammed and screamed into their ears through dumbass commercials and annoying anti-smoking people have not been effective enough. Crying children will FINALLY get this message across.
People know that they can die. They smoke anyway. If you want to get a loved one to quit, tell them so, but if they keep on smoking, that's their choice. Let them be. |

vitaliy, you're right. Those AUSTRALIAN adverts from the UK are really messed up. Honest to god, I try so hard to convince people here that not ALL Americans are idiots but you just don't do yourself any favours.Anyway, I smoke because I like smoking and it makes me look super cool. |

yea the government approved ads here in australia are horrible. i got off the bus a few weeks ago and the back had a picture to look like the bus stopped and someone hit the back flew though their windshield and splattered on the back of the bus |

cigarettes are the hardest drug to quit. My mother died of lung cancer april 20, 2007, she was 61 years old. She died right in front of my father, my brother and myself and there was nothing we could do. I tried to give her CPR but she just laid there dead and vomited all over herself. I have been trying to stop smoking ever since and so far it is impossible. So if you have never smoked or have already found the will power to stop. please never smoke cigarrettes. |
