Saturday, April 04, 2009 10:17:47 PM I think it would've been cooler if the goalie saved it... but it was still awesome. |

Saturday, April 04, 2009 9:57:41 PM Octillion, actually its just a little skill and knowledge the right angle and speed of the stick (which can be seen in this video) on the flat edge of the puck will lift it in the manor shown. |

Saturday, April 04, 2009 8:53:28 PM ZacchNasty, the reason it's so amazing is because the puck is very flat and the hockey stick is very flat. You need to get it under there in such a way so it doesnt just slide on the ice. |

Saturday, April 04, 2009 9:15:34 AM Zacch, cause hockey pucks are supposed to be slapped, shot, and basically become lethal in the game |

Friday, April 03, 2009 11:33:22 PM Also, it may be just me, but any goalie who wears a black helmet and that white cage just reminds me of Hasek. |

Friday, April 03, 2009 10:10:06 PM @Cheeseman: No, he didn't. @Tisjokar: It was skills, but he would've acted like that even if it was luck. @Skine: It doesn't matter. Even on an international level, hockey is an organized brawl. |

Friday, April 03, 2009 6:13:43 PM It may be an uncommon shot placement, but it's really not that difficult of a thing to do. Back in the day I practiced putting the puck into the netting above the glass from about 10 feet back (good for clearing the puck on a penalty kill, for example). The real trick for this shot was making the goalie commit. |

Friday, April 03, 2009 5:13:42 PM Is it just me or did he get lucky from the goalie helping knock it in? |

Friday, April 03, 2009 3:49:48 PM I wouldn't say it was innovative, but it required a lot of skill. |
