the only way animals being used as entertainment is wrong is if the method of training said animal is physical abuse. ya, it really looks like they're suffering (sarcasm). but if some believe no matter what, its wrong, well then what about all the parents who make their kids do ballet, sports, music without asking. like britt566 said "Well then I think that I speak on my behalf when I type that I disagree with humans being used as entertainment." honestly, like the animal gives a crap that its performing |

Firstly, Id like to know what the hell they're feeding them to make their poo that colour.
Second, Id like to know who the hell would pay to see the poor things forced to do things that they'd never normally do.
Third, Id like to know why having anials in circuses is still legal.Since they'd prefer to be in the wild. |

i really hate going to circuses cause i hate seeing the animals. you can see in their eyes that they dont wanna spend their lives doing that poo! as for the video itself... its not that gross if youve seen the elephant pissing photo or video. provided i havent seen more poo in my life. |

I thought all animals had been banned from circuses long ago. Certainly, in Australia, circuses are not allowed to have any animals or animal acts, not even horses or dogs. |

One of the jobs in the circus is to "$hit" the elephants (that's the term they use) before they go out into the arena. This is so they won't be doing it out in front of the audience. The elephants are trained to poop on command when they line up to go out. Sometimes they need a good poke in the butt with a stick. When that doesn't work, they take a forked stick, put it under their tails right next to their butts, and push up hard. This will usually cause them to let loose. That one in the video, though, looks like it had a case of the old "green apple splatters!" I once asked the guy who did that why he didn't quit and find something else to do. He replied incredulously, "What, and give up show business?" |
