Tuesday, June 02, 2009 6:25:46 AM I wish I had been alive in the 80s. Things just seemed a lot more fun back then. Although, I probably would have been a part of the darkwave/goth scene since I love the hell out of that part of the 80s. All that crap sucks nowadays. :[Someone invent a time machine! Right now! |

Tuesday, March 24, 2009 3:55:18 AM "In 20 years, there will be a video about hip-hop on IAB, and all the commenters will be laughing at how drating stupid the people "back then" looked and dressed and acted with their pants around their ankles and all the other gay ass poo hip-hop kids do now."In 20 years, people are going to read the comments for this video and everyone will laugh at how drating stupid the commenters "back then" used to add pointless comments on semi-popular websites in the nude while eating hot pockets. True story. |

Monday, March 23, 2009 10:20:17 PM @zerocyde... It won't take twenty years... It happened about 2 years ago... they are just dumbed down and need some time to catch up. Be gentle with them... You know the self-esteem thing and all. |

Monday, March 23, 2009 2:29:50 PM In 20 years, there will be a video about hip-hop on IAB, and all the commenters will be laughing at how drating stupid the people "back then" looked and dressed and acted with their pants around their ankles and all the other gay ass poo hip-hop kids do now. What I don't understand is, why do these people now, the hip-hop kids, why do they think they are the ONLY group of people in HISTORY who's stupid kid fad wont be laughed at down the line? Every single stupid kid fad throughout history has gone down, yet these kids think theirs will be the first that is "actually the way things are supposed to be" and will never go down. |

Monday, March 23, 2009 3:56:53 AM At least they had some kind of style and originality in the 80s, and to an extent 90s. As cringe worthy as it is (and looking back at old photos, I was an 80s fashion victim thanks to my mother).Now.. we're just taking fashion from eras gone!! |

Monday, March 23, 2009 2:49:56 AM That lead singer is Deborah Conway. She went on to make some great solo releases. Look up "Alive and Brilliant" for example. |

Sunday, March 22, 2009 8:51:50 PM This is what people in LA and Brooklyn dress like. Irony has folded in on itself and nobody knows what it means anymore. This poo was not cool and is not cool now. Its always the people who didn't live through it who tend to romanticize it(the culture of that time)'s lowest points |

Sunday, March 22, 2009 7:35:14 PM the only real way to explain this, is, well, it was the freaking 80's. Personally I was born in the early/mid 80's, so I don't really remember all that much of the 80's. And something must have been "cool" about the 80's seeings how it's starting to come back with a vengeance. |

Sunday, March 22, 2009 3:15:25 PM There were much worse videos that this in the 80s. The song isn't bad, the video is just a little corny. But I have never in my life heard of this song or this band. |

Sunday, March 22, 2009 2:59:09 PM This is early 80's when TV f/x were pretty simple. You want a more typical '80's video, you gotta look at the post Thriller/Billie Jean videos. |
