leopardson, you are retarded

they lost homes beacuse the inital down payment was very little, so they thought they could afford it. they failed to look at, or acknowledge, the mortgage prices. so they paid little at first then paid tons. nothing to do with oil profits

"So, instead of blaming it on AIG, perhaps you should blame it on Bush, he made a lot of profit from his presidency."

You're right, he was quite the evil genious. You are also correct that people actually never did get mortgages that they could not afford. They also did not choose to get credit cards, purchase cars that were really expensive and generally people did not choose to live beyond their means... it was all a myth made up by the evil genious Bush and his henchmen at Exxon Mobile.

Does this sum it up? Do you realize exactly how absolutely F**king RETARDED you sound??!!!!

This is just like how Exxon Mobil says it is trying to help the world.

(WARNING: Political information below, skip unless you actually care.)
Exxon Mobil & friends are the true cause of the state of the economy.
The republican leaders tend to claim "People bought houses they couldn't afford".

Umm, no, people bought houses they could afford, then the oil prices got jacked up so high they couldn't afford to pay their bills.

So, instead of blaming it on AIG, perhaps you should blame it on Bush, he made a lot of profit from his presidency.

Seriously, if anyone wants to give money to a reputable charity, give to the ASPCA. They actually help animals without doing crazy stuff.

"dude, vegetarians are f*cking supid :/"

You blathering idiot. Vegetarianism doesn't have to be an ethical choice. It can be a choice made simply because one dislikes the taste of meat. It also doesn't mean that all vegetarians support the practices of PETA.

My girlfriend is a vegetarian. She made that decision because she was forced at a young age to watch a pig get slaughtered at a pig roast, and then was forced to eat the pork.

People have their own personal decisions to make, and it is HARDLY your place on earth to see what is "f*cking stupid" or not. Your intolerance will be your ultimate downfall.

I thought it was hilarious in the South Park episode when all of those PETA members were killed by that rapper.

splurby: No problem, I was the one who wanted an abortion debate haha. I'm tired of all the peta posts and thought we could all fight about something else. It all deteriorates into personal little nit-pick attacks in the end anyway, so why not switch up the original topic?

ive justr read the last (page one) comments, and this is what i got from it:

there is a fight about abortion, somones trying to fight about religion, PETA are terroists who put goldfish above humans, and people get mad when animals get killed for no reason, by PETA

well i have to say fetus's are yummy, gods real, lets kill the bastards, goldfish are also yummy, and lets put peta members in cages

unless i misinterpreted that. oh well

Any extreme, in any direction, whether it be good or bad, is unhealthy. PETA takes ethical treatment of animals to cult status. This does not surprise me one bit. This is yet another example of why I hate people in general. There are great, kind, honest people out there, but their numbers are decreasing. There are way too many crazy, nutjobs in this country. While thousands die per hour from starvation, simply because their country has no economy and they have no agriculture, we sit at a computer, that is worth, basically, about 300 lives, bi%ching about stuff. Hating our good paying jobs, that allow us to barely pay the rent to our apartment with running CLEAN water, that doesn't have millions of micro-organisms that eat the insides of human beings like a watermelon. The jobs that contribute to our savings. Imagine that, having enough money, even a couple of dollars, to set aside, and use later " I don't NEED it right now, I'll put it towards an expensive vacation".

"so key word ETHICAL."

Yes, it's perfectly okay for them to violently (Literally, with firebombings) oppose animal research and animals being used as food, then turn around and kill the animals that are given to them to be rescued.

Not hypocritical one bit.

Boadicea:"splurby: Babies slated for abortion? If they're being aborted, they're fetuses. Just little clumps of cells. Give me a break."

Actually I lean more toward pro-choice, but just to help you pull your head from your ass; not all abortions are "little clumps of cells", many have feet, organs, eyes, hands, brains and they move too. All that aside, go back to my original post and realize I was simply making a sarcastic/ironic comparison between the topic at hand and to perhaps make a point. I didn't make the comment to somehow convince you of my "nefarious" agenda to turn a PETA debate into an abortion debate.

People
Ethical
Treatment
Aanimals

they dont save them. they treat them eithcally. most of the animals they get will die a slow painful death over days. they cant spend that much money on every animal. they dont have enough supporters. so they have to euthanize them so they dont suffer. and thats a cycle. the euthanization causes even less money donated.

so key word ETHICAL.

This article is not a surprise, but holy bull poo, some of these comments are totally unrelated to the article in question.
The human ape is the most opportunistic creature on the face of the planet, plus as a collective is not very bright either.
Humanity is how we (as species) treat our selves and others (other species). We don't have a steller record at either.
I also find it unsurprising that a terrorist supporting organization was spawned in a terrorist supporting country.
I just feel sorry for those caught in the middle, human and non-human.
PETA plays fast and loose with its ethics and immorals.

Lionhart2, "pro choice" doesn't mean that pro choice women terminate all their pregnancies. The term "Pro Abortion" implies that you believe in ending humanity, basically.
Pro Choice implies that you believe that if some choose to abort, that is their choice.
I'm pro choice but I would never get an abortion.
Children are born to pro-choice parents every day.
