i knew i had seizures but wanted to go anyway. they should of stopped me.

I'm so confused as to why there are suddenly bigger bulges all over his head...Also..he's just grovelling.
It was a tragic accident..but is pointing fingers really going to help now?
Unless it's for even more reconstructive surgery...he could get a face transplant maybe? Also..he was 21 at the time..he should have known of the effects of his Epilepsy(SP?). |

Negligence my ass!He went on the trip knowing damn well he had those seizures and he sat by the fire STILL knowing he had these seizures. It is not like they held a gun to his head and ordered him onto that trip or sit by the fire. It is his own damn fault that this happened, he just doesn't want to take responsibility for it. And he wants someone else to pay the bills. |

sod the money, id rather be dead with a face like that.people would sue for anything these days, a kid fell over in the playground and grazed his knee and his parents sued for £15,000 "suffering". although if i was in his case i would want the money, but probally kill myself instead |

Why would you take an outdoor survival class in which you know a) you have seizures b) you can't really be in a survival class without dealing with fire c) it could possibly leave you with what appears to be an elephant's trunk for a nose. |

I would say both parties were at fault. The guy should've taken more care. If you have a history of seizures, STAY AWAY FROM FIRE! On the other hand, the school should probably not have taken him on the trip. |

I understand his problem and all. But how is this the schools fault? What, is he so retarded even as an adult that he cant make decisions for himself?If he has a history of seizures then its his own damn fault for going on the trip and knowing the potential risks he took. See you in hell. Hope he gets better and I would be butt hurt too if it happened to me. But sometimes we have to learn to live with our own mistakes and not blame everyone else. |
