TopperHey, I'm going to venture to guess that even if her parents are Jewish, they aren't teaching her that all of the Egyptians died in WWII because it was too hot, or that a giant 4-year-old girl was raised by a militia. I'm pretty sure she's just a 5-year-old making up a story that's based on the only fact she's heard about it (The Jewish people were sent to "jail" in WWII). Just like all 5-year-olds do. Calm down, my God. |

It is a bit early to be reciting WWII. Wouldn't suprise me if she's had the misfortune to be born into one of those Jewish families who loves being oppressed. It's probably just mandatory training. Now she can grow up with an irrational sense of persecution and knowing that it's OK to bomb palestine because of the Holocaust.(BTW not random comments. There are quite a few Jews who think like that.) |

ok, so, let me sum this up, the Germans cheated in world war 2/3 and put the jews in jail, so a another jewish dude went to jaigle and told the jews to run, so they did. Oh, and the Egyptians did boring stuff and died because the sun was too hot, so their houses broke and army guys built clothes houses and there was a big 4 year old girl that they took care of... what war is this again? |

this is how i leant it in school. one lesson would be about world war 2, the second would be 10,000BC about the egyptions, then suddenly we would learn about the vikins, then about the victorian times, then romans.. it gets very confusing. i used to think that "jesus" was born in the roman times and shakespear was born millions of years ago..
thats how they teach it to you and it was why no one took history |

They were a British colony at the time, so "Egypt" wasn't a sovereign belligerent, but there was fighting in Western Egypt during the war. "She was obviously recounting the North African campaign where Montgomery drove the Rommel's Afrika Corps back into Egypt." I think you have that just a wee bit backwards. |
