Friday, March 20, 2009 6:16:27 PM pilanus:i agree that would be an interesting movie plot, but the book was absolutely horrible and gathering blue was a lot worse i look forward to the new Angels & Demons movie, for anyone who approves of the book and agrees |

Friday, March 20, 2009 3:46:06 PM The Giver definitely needs a movie... too bad if it were to be made, they would probably get Tim Burton to ruin it... My other favorite Lois Lowry book that should be made into a movie, Gathering blue. But this one looks pretty cool too. I will be happy to see it. |

Thursday, March 19, 2009 1:52:33 PM I had forgotten all about this book until now. One of my brothers always got scared halfway through and my mom had to stop reading it. As soon as I saw this, I went to reserve it online at the library. Wouldn't you know... all 53 copies in the county-wide district have been checked out within the last 2 days. I know my kids would love it like I did. |
