As much as I believe that everyone has the right to there own thoughts, that doesn't mean I have to agree with their stance on an issue. That being said... Osiris, I'm on your side. You weren't incredibly ugly in your first post in the first place. Honestly people, if someone corrects you don't flip out..jebus...
Also the fight match thing cracks me up! There is nothing wrong with good ole fashion hand to hand combat. It's not like its a death match. Everyone is having a battle of wits on here, why is a battle of a different sort so wrong? Btw, I respect your service to this nation, thank you for fighting for the freedom I hold dear. Anyway, this made for pure amusement for me at 1 in the morning, and I just wanted to add my 2 cents, not that they matter really. :) Oh, and I liked the video! Kudos for the rabbit!!!! |

I hear you miraclewik. What REALLY bothered me was Captain Save-a-Ho and the Teenage Internet Justice League purposely taking posts out of context, trying to defend someone who was passing on incorrect information in an attempt to appear knowledgeable.
Of course, during this whole debacle, not a PEEP out of the one I took issue with, save for his other thinly disguised I-A-B accounts.I win. Cheetos and beer for everyone! |

Remember, I don't think you are the bad guy, I hate people who have no balls who hide out under another name to watch the fireworks too. I just didn't like that you decided his opinion did not matter because of his service time. THAT's something I'm pretty adamant about, and I hated to hear it from a fellow servicemember. Bad day on my part too. |

Ah... All the TKD fanboys have arrived!Amazing how the person I have the issue with is willing to hide behind the rest of you. Of course, his silence of the last two days just proves my point. Anyone else that wants to jump in here and flame me, feel free! And as for the rest of the alleged servicemen and women who have weighed in here, I've done TWO in Iraq, and TWO in Afghanistan. Yeah, I'm waaaay bitchy. You should understand WHY. at the beginning of this debacle, the VERY FIRST thing I said BEFORE I flamed TKD "Master" was "and since I'm in a cranky mood." Yes, I started this flamewar, which didn't turn into a flamewar until Captain Save-A-Ho and the Teenage Internet Justice League massed their forces and came at me. Now some of you are actually implying that I am trampling on someone else's freedom of speech? That is just RIDICULOUS. I suppose one of you will compare me to Hitler next. Heh, I don't think he knows Wing Chun, and if he does than he was a poor student or his teacher sucked. I think he is a fan boy of Bruce Lee, any true practitioner would know better than to challenge someone over something dumb. |

(sorry for another post!)I also feel that your job in the sandbox plays a huge roll. Are you a paper pusher in the tent, or are you like me, the medic, trying desperately to pull a screaming marine from the gunfire, only to have him die in your arms, pleading for you to give his mother/daughter/wife his final words? A day of that is worth MUCH more than a year of inaction. And I am in the US Navy, though I'm stationed in Asia currently. I still do spend my days reattaching limbs, though I'm not exactly on the front lines anymore. They get brought to me now. |

Is that what you are saying to Freedan? Seriously, am I the only military person here who truly believes that people should be able to say freely what they wish as long as no harm comes to another? You fight for free speech, and don't support it? That has to make you feel pretty bad. Though I do agree with you, the Air Force is very cushy and doesn't do too much IMHO. Sorry, Freedan. |

OK, I'm in the Navy and have been deployed 4 years and counting. Do I get a say, Osiris? I'm not knocking you much, I'm just saying you don't need to try to fight over the internet. I hate people with big heads too, but you just need to let it go. Believe in karma for a bit. Are you an officer or enlisted? |
