I live like 30 minutes from Chuck's ranch in Texas, he comes to my job with his trophy wife to shop sometimes and everyone freaks out like he's god or something... it's pretty retarded. |

You know, we went through a very similar thing up here in Canada, with Quebec wanting to leave.It didn't go well and wound up causing more problems then doing anyone any good. |

Yes, Texans have pride for their state. We tend to like the fact that we can fly our flag high, split into multiple states, or secede (well, try to...) if we really get ticked off. XD

Because they think Texas is BIG. The fact that there are sheep and cattle stations (ie ranches) in the Aussie outback that are bigger than the entire state of Texas each, seems lost on them. |
