that second to last one is just an outline, he's trying to cover up the first one. that's how big tats start, outlines, n progress to big ones. you can't to a full big one in one day lol

They're not as bad as some of the ones my seveteen year old uncle drew on himself. Know what I asked him when he showed me? "Are you brain damaged?"

#9 Isn't a bad tattoo - he is getting ready to get it covered up. He's in the shop getting it done, the purple ink is the outline they apply before you get inked, tards.

yeah, pig skin is usually the practice canvas since it is rather cheap. But just as in any art field, there are good artists..... and bad. Really bad.

oh boy. these are bad.
they probably weren't done by real tattoo artists.
to answer the question:
to become a tattoo artist, most of them find an apprenticeship, although some are self taught.
they start off by practicing the drawings, then by tattooing it on fake skin or pigskin. when they are ready they need to tattoo something on themselves. next often, they tattoo on friends for free to build a portfolio or just to practice and to show they boss. after they've had all that practice and have the feel for real skin they are allowed to tattoo paying customers.

I've always wondered how tattoo artists practice. I mean, the guy who gets the artist's FIRST tattoo...do they ever even know it? Hrm.

I believe the practice on pigs and things.

"...and the second to last one is the best. "

The blue on that one is the stencil for that artist to follow. Its going to be a cover up. Hopefully done much better then whats under it. I would like to see the final results.

I kind of liked the dinosaur. If I ever got a tattoo, it would be a dinosaur. Maybe a little better drawn than that one
