Tuesday, March 10, 2009 5:50:00 AM This is a joke right , Radio? Isn't that like the Drive-in , 8 track, and cassette? Really, no one my age or younger listens to radio unless it's NPR or the college station. If I am listening to something for 3 hours it's my mp3. |

Tuesday, March 10, 2009 5:34:36 AM The vice president talking about the O last year. "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man."Biden also said racial slurs about 7-11 owners and many many more. Why don't libs care about their own people being bigots? |

Tuesday, March 10, 2009 3:54:29 AM So yes, I am a conservative of the constitution in that i believe none of those freedoms should be taken away. But we are on the threshold of advancing our nation. That which once made us the greatest superpower in the world is crumbling in the face of newer ideas. And while we cling to some ideological theory that by never changing we will remain the greatest country in the world we are feeding a monster that will bring this nation to its knees and cripple it. Conserve the constitution, conserve peace, conserve justice, but dont hold this country back from maintaining that status of being the best nation in the world. |

Tuesday, March 10, 2009 3:20:39 AM so where would this country be without progressive forward thinking individuals? where would this country be if we just clung to the past? Maybe we would have gained our independence like canada, or perhaps we would still be in the business of slavery. conserve? the only thing i wish to conserve are the laws and freedoms of the constitution. But i want this country to move forward, with new found freedoms we can hold onto for generations to come. As we press forward with technology and education, we discover more and more freedoms that are God given and we should hold onto them, not suppress them. Why should we suppress people's freedoms, when this country is founded on granting people freedoms they didn't have before. Our fathers recognized important rights and freedom that was being suppressed by a government supported by a select group of people. And in 200 years what have we learned? That those kinds of people still exist. |

Tuesday, March 10, 2009 3:14:35 AM I know this thread is prolly dead but I feel like I need to pose a question here. To the people who think conservatism is what founded or built this country, I would have to disagree. Lookit: There were several reasons we warred with Brittan, and all of them had "progressive" motives behind them. We were being taxed because the kings felt like it, so we made a progressive law that there would be no taxation without representation. There were taxes on churches who werent the national religion of Brittan, so we made a new progressive law that prohibited any lawmaker to affect the freedom of religion, including taxes. These ideas were against the norm, our fuding fathers didnt hold onto some old world idea or conserve the kingdoms policies. They moved forward, they innovated, and they broke away from the old world. Moving up in history, the republican party was built on progressive ideas. Lincoln was a republican, and he did something so liberal it cost him his life. |

Tuesday, March 10, 2009 2:29:36 AM Don't like the guy. But then you have the Republicans pull out the hundreds of quotes of Democrat politicians during Clinton's years who said that Saddam had WMD and must be taken out..yada yada yada. There's just so many things out there. This is nothing new. Meh |

Monday, March 09, 2009 8:13:11 PM I didn't even watch the video, but I don't care. Rush is a big-government warhawk who would want nothing more than for the US to be a police state under the guise of psuedo-moralistic views and safety, regardless of what he says about freedoms being stripped away. He represents Bush republicanism, sometimes called imperialism. It's my job as a libertarian to ensure that men like him do not get elected, and to fight them on the streets if nessecary to preserve your and my liberties. That is all. |
