the best one left out of this list, was the name "mario" a character everyone knows and will not forget. when the original game came out with "mario" facing off against donkey kong he was called "jumpman" eventually nintendo had a problem with a man named Mario segal[sp?] involving money of course. so they decided to name the character mario. gotta love nintendo. |

Fail on the translation of "hulu" in Indonesian (and to a closer extent Malay). It does not literally mean 'butt' as in the physical human backside or bum.It means 'end'. Like 'hulu pedang' means 'the end (a.k.a the hilt) of a sword'. So hulu isn't popular in indonesia because of it's name, but more because we can't use it over here (F you broadcast laws). |
