Ahah, they dropped a tree on the cat. Seems to me it was limping off rather than darting. |

Really? A chainsaw was their best option? Just wait til the little b*tard gets hungry and shake a food dish at him...he'll come down. My cat used to do this all the time and we finally caught on that he was just playing us! |

haha i can understand small amounts of japanese (i've taken it for about 4 years) and i believe, and that's a strong believe as i'm still not 100 percent certain, that the reporter says the cat was in such a high tree the equipment couldn't reach him.i really don't think cutting the tree down was the best option though. poor kitty! |

Seems if you did nothing eventually he'd drop out of the tree before he'd die. Has a cat ever been known to die of dehydration up a tree? |
