Thursday, February 26, 2009 8:42:37 AM I heard that they patched the pilot through to Chuck Norris moments before the water landing, so Chuck could talk him through it.(I just can't help myself. Some things never get old to me.) |

Wednesday, February 25, 2009 2:44:50 PM The flight control sounds stupid. He says like three times that he cant land on a runway so they suggest another one. They even keep asking him to land even after he says he is going to land in the Hudson. The pilot is awesome though. |

Wednesday, February 25, 2009 2:32:14 PM By far one of the very best pilots this world has ever seen. the crew of this filght , namly the pilot, should all be added to the pages of history as heros.

Wednesday, February 25, 2009 7:28:39 AM I love how air control completely ignores "We may end up in the Hudson". Twice. Each time he comes back with runway traffic. |

Wednesday, February 25, 2009 5:56:38 AM That was really awesome. Ever since it happened I've been wondering how he did it. Made me realize how terrifying it would have been to have been on that plane. |

Wednesday, February 25, 2009 2:24:44 AM That was awesome! The pilot was so effin calm. How many times did he have to tell the control tower he was going into the hudson. WTF? That control tower guy needs to be evaluated. Every flyer on that plane received an immediate $5000 check for lost luggage 2 days after it happened. Next time I fly, I know it will be with u.s. airways. |

Wednesday, February 25, 2009 1:18:58 AM It was an incredible landing, Especially considering what short amount of time it happened in. |

Tuesday, February 24, 2009 11:18:58 PM Wait i still see the left side of the group standing on water/buoyant wing of aircraft?yes. theres not enough room on that floating thing. but there obviously in no danger anymore. worse come to worse youd have to swim a couple hundred meters. which in that cold would be horrible. but bearable. but i id assume somebody would see a plane hittin the water and call rescue or something |
