i'm glad they didn't try to screw him over for grand theft auto... I almost expected them to, the way the government is these days. My only solace is that many decisions are made by a jury consisting of real people (as opposed to mofo gov't officials) |

This is just another of many reasons I'm keeping a loaded, unsafetied shotgun in my bedroom and a pistol in my office at all times when I own a home. I heard you're supposed to kill your intruder. Never leave evidence. I'd love it if some gangster wannabe came running into my bedroom to find a blast of buckshot in their eyes. |

A new alarm system, good idea. 45 S&W, most likely a good idea as well.The van was being used in commission of a crime. The fact that he contacted the police immediately and informed of his actions as well as complied with the operators orders gives great vitality that there was no malice in his action. I do not think a prosecutor would invest much time in this case.
