Almost any wild animal can hurt/kill you.
That's why you don't have chimps as pets as well as lions, tigers, leopards etc. -.- |

Just to be clear, poster: is it sad because the monkey was killed, or that he was stopped? Also, she,"stabbed the chimp that she loved, like a child." Now I'm not sure if she stabbed the chimp like a child, or that she stabbed him like she would stab a child, or whether she loved the chimp like he was a her child. I'm confused. The English language is stupid. It'd be hard to have a chimp as a pet. Imagine having a child that could rip your face off if he didn't get his way. |

First of all, you shouldn't even HAVE chimps as pets.
Secondly, WHY didnt she have any tranquilisers?
and thirdly, if Id been locked up and used as a source of entertainment for 14 years, and then you gave me drugs (which would prolly affect chimps diffrent from people), Id go apepoo too. |

When I saw the description on the vid I thought the chimp was the one stabbing people with the knife! I thought that would be cool - well, not for the people being stabbed I guess...I hate primates  |

well this seems like a classic case of home sickness and individuality, inadequacy and betrayal. (on a lighter note) I think the chimp just no longer had all the bitches he could handle because of o more work coming in. His lichour cabinet was dry and couldn't pay the rent. |

I like monkeys, and I like orangutans. Heck - even gorillas can be cool sometimes.Chimps were on my bad side, and now you can be sure I'll never look one in the eye again - knowing they're well capable of tearing my face off and surviving multiple stab wounds. |

Yea, generally there are reasons why we shouldn't keep chimpanzees as pets, such as the whole they can overpower us thing.Also: "primates suck! they are so dumb. us cephalopods are so much more intelligent. i mean don't primates have basic logic?" Made me lol. |

Poor lady! I'd be devastated if my face got mutilated ;/ Chimps piss me off. Gorillas and those little monkeys with cute faces are okay but not chimps ;| I saw a clip of some chimps eating a baby chimp's face after killing it before. Does that seem cute to you? |
