Friday, May 01, 2009 9:24:41 PM hence why i dont have a face book. and they can't look up your poo unless they know your information. so if you have fake info they can't find you (the colleges as stated below) or so i've been told. i mean, if ur names under "mike jones" n ur names "marie stroodle" they're not gonna find you lol |

Friday, February 20, 2009 9:06:16 PM What the hell? This ain't new. Sites like MySpace and Facebook and all that - they get to keep your pictures. Colleges love that, since they can just find your profile there and look at some pics of you taking drugs and drinking. Boom, you're out of college. Ding, fries are done. |

Wednesday, February 18, 2009 3:37:49 AM Terms of Use Update CloseOver the past few days, we have received a lot of feedback about the new terms we posted two weeks ago. Because of this response, we have decided to return to our previous Terms of Use while we resolve the issues that people have raised. For more information, visit the Facebook Blog. If you want to share your thoughts on what should be in the new terms, check out our group Facebook Bill of Rights and Responsibilities. |

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 5:14:38 PM So I guess the lesson is don't do anything you are going to regret..because somehow, somewhere, there is always going to be someone with a camera either digital, phone, or hidden.

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 11:46:43 AM out of the millions of people on facebook, whats the chance they will want a picture of me hanging out with friends or of my dogs? whatever.. in my opinion pretty much anything you upload onto the internet can be used against you somehow, regardless of a term of service |

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 10:48:18 AM I don't have anything useful on my facebook account so...if facebook corp wants to archive pictures of my friends climbing trees, or drawings I sketched while bored in class, then let them to it. |

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 9:53:27 AM Wow, it's pretty pompous to think that your pictures would be used out of those all those people on the damn site (like anyone wants to see you and your wife/husband at a family dinner). Second, maybe you should be more careful with messaging and having private conversations whith one another when your collegues or superiors are in your friends list, rather than worrying about Facebook stealing those superneat pictures... Plus, if you don't want anyone to use your stuff, put a copyright underneath the picture, or don't upload it. If you don't agree with the terms, stop hosting a Facebook. |

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 8:34:35 AM ooooorrrr.... they realized that when someone gets fired b/c of something on their facebook, they delete their account and therefor facebook cant' sell that content to the media for big $$$... sounds more like that to me, or possibly a matter of "national security" (dundundun) so that they have record of you being on that site, ya know cause terrorists are all about facebook. |

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 8:31:03 AM I never used Facebook and I only use MySpace as an adjunct to the ASPCA and animal related stuffs. Only egomaniacs post nudies of themselves on those sites. This just goes to show that if you have something good, someone somewhere will f*ck it all up for the rest of us.

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 7:32:55 AM the thing is if don't strangers looking, using, and manipulating anything that you post to Facebook, DON'T post! Its the same thing as leaving your photos and notes on the sidewalk or park bench for anyone see or use. "dropping" digital property is the same as dropping/leaving behind real property. The new TOS is just covering Facebook's ass against idiots and morons that don't realize how "public" social networks really are. |

Tuesday, February 17, 2009 3:40:07 AM They are probably not interested in the photos "i don't see a facebook pr0n website turning up anytime soon. Its probably just your html designs if they are professional they'll be able to sell them to other facebook users "which is what i'd do" |
