If this link still doesn't work, there are three entries since this show on gawker.com <-- their opinion is that it's both drugs AND a deliberate hoax. Very strange coincidence, I just saw Gladiator for the first time a couple days ago (I thought everything about it was tepid EXCEPT for the mad gleam in J.Phoenix's eye LOL.) Letterman isn't a Pr*k. He gets multi millions of dollars for being a smart AS$, something we'd all love to let loose when the timing is just perfect or the people you encounter deserve to be called out when their spaced out, rude, ignorant etc. Unfortunately, we aren't that privileged in our every day lives or paid enormous cash to do that. We have to bite our tongues!! |

Audience has full right to laugh at every word that comes out of his mouth, serious or not. Don't go on national TV dressed like Grizzly Adams after mugging James Bond, all hopped up on drugs (I really hope he is, because if he's not, he's just a really slow, stupid, ignorant drat), and expect people to take you seriously. |

come on everyone, he's an actor. he doesn't need drugs to act like this. i think he did it very well, he has nothing to say about his acting career because he doesn't want to pursue it anymore. and he was right to call the audience on the BS for laughing at the idea of him making hip hop- just because he's not trying to act like he's black doesn't mean he can't make good hip hop music blah blablabla... |
