"holy vrap!

that happened to me at 8 years old and i'd freak the f*** out, scream, cry, and alert the authorities! how was he so calm? "

They said he kept trying to wake his mother so he probably at first though she wasn't dead.

Thats really gross. Scary too. Sleeping in your house knowing that your mom is dead in the next room. I couldnt be comftorable with that.

"The boy survived on eating dried rice, butter and flour."

Sounds like my childhood.

Sometimes. . . you guys break my heart. Reading some of these comments is truly sad.

I feel nothing but empathy for this child. That being said - some of you need to really rethink what you post prior to hitting that "post reply" button.

That's so sad! And I don't think I knew how to cook at 8 but I wouldn't eat dried rice

Home schooled, nuff said. A kid who at age 8 can't figure out how to cook anything but instead eats dried rice and butter. WTF? Stupid kid. If I was his mom I would have killed myself too.

If I was old enough to adopt a child and had the means, I'd adopt him tomorrow.

I just saw a terrible advertisment to go along with that story "Momma always said, don't spend money to get money!"
aside from that, I think it would be an unfortunate mixture of tragedy and creepiness to have to live alone with a dead close relative for more than I week. don't think I could stand it at all
