Saturday, January 31, 2009 12:22:17 PM They don't elaborate on why an unmarried, financially insecure woman with six children would be having in vitro. That's a much more interesting story, IMO. |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 11:51:05 AM IM OVER THIS STORYthe mom should have her ovaries taken out, and half of her 14 children took away, she ended up being bankrupt, moving in with her parents, then she spent thousands just to get knocked up AGAIN , with no father in the picture. Now she has 14. She's a dumb*uck. She's either fugly, lonely, or just drating insane. ( but i think it's all of the above ) |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 11:34:42 AM Why did the discussion of pulling out even come up? She got preggers via in vitro fertilization.... so although she wasn't expecting 8, she at least wanted another 1 in addition to her 6 already....She's a nutter butter for sure! |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 11:16:32 AM ... Maybe she should have not tried to buy a 600,000 dollar house. She had to have known she couldn't afford it. I hate stupid people.

Saturday, January 31, 2009 10:19:16 AM I think the small guerrilla army is a great idea! Nobody would expect 8 octuplets to simultaneously whip out AK-47's. Nobody would stand a chance! |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 9:33:14 AM Let's see, she has 6 kids, is bankrupt, in foreclosure, living with her parents and she gets fertility treatments so she can have MORE kids? WTF? She must have some sort of mental illness, she collects kids the way some people collect cats. |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 8:44:29 AM Her husband was not in Iraq, her FATHER went to Iraq as a contractor to support his daughter and her 6 kids. Now he is going back to help support 14 of his GRANDCHILDREN. I think that state needs to take the kids, she obviously is not going to be able to care for them. There is no mention of a father, anywhere!! She has no money, no home of her own, and we will be supporting them with the money we pay as taxes. This is a crime, someone needs to go to jail for this. |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 7:03:45 AM here's the thing, I agree that she should not have "killed" the other babys. However, there is still adoption. And I agree, if you are that financially unstable and already have 6 kids, and LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS, you should not even think about having even 1 more child. This is a perfect example of not having priority's in good order. she should have worried about getting the 6 kids she already has in their own home, and knocking out some of that debt she already has. She may even be a mental case, if her husband is in Irac she may be lonely or missing him and thought having a baby would make that go away. I just feel like the tax payers have another huge family to raise. |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 3:53:54 AM You'd think after at least 4 kids "Lets stop having children?" They dug their own hole let them suffer |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 3:20:27 AM "5) We now know, that with a few choice words, a reporter can make 90% of the people who read his article believe things he has never said. <-- This is a bigger deal than the story."Quoting, because I second that.. The media needs to leave them alone now. Maybe they were irresponsible, maybe things which we don't expect or properly plan for happen in life. But we all do things that perhaps we shouldn't, and which the media could easily sensationalise to sell a paper or two. And, if any people are worried about who is going to pay for these kids, (for one, i dont see anything wrong in her family helping out in someway) and if its going to fall on asking the government for help - that isn't the mother's fault - thats the government, who can blame her? These people should come to the UK and see the red carpet, benefits and support that would be layed out for this family. Their government or social support in the US would pale in comparison. |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 2:16:24 AM Black mans leg onto a white man is interesting!Ok, I acknowledge that improvements like that largely helped the population boom, but my point is the current population is being majorly supported by oil usage. So what is going to happen when the oil becomes limited enough that we can no longer support ourselves using it? The world has to find a new practical energy source at some point, or there will be a huge population crash. |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 2:13:00 AM Now I didn't read a lot of the comments I'm not cool enough to give 'everyone' my time. <.< BUT...What I did read had like nothing to do with this and the people that were talking about this didn't read the article. It said right on it 'She did not plan to have 8 children.' It was also implied it was artificial insemination so it has nothing to do with birth control. Excuse me if my laziness has lead me to jump to conclusions without reading as far back as the beginning. >P On another note. I really don't care what she has done or is doing wrong. Financial issues are bad enough. Don't throw media issues at the family to unless you are helping them. =/ |
