Saturday, January 31, 2009 1:35:14 PM It's ok to say "we". As long as you aren't a bandwagoning non-nice individual. Saying "we" is much easier than saying, say, "the New York Giants".*No, people don't say "we" because they think they've done something as part of the team. They say "we" because it's much shorter and it really doesn't make a diference to anybody that matters. *note: I'm a Redskins fan, and would never say "we" when referring to the Giants. They suck. |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 1:23:52 PM It's ok if you feel that way. This guy needs to understand that that's how you feel on the INSIDE. You don't start crying like a little bitch. As for the fact that his team "deserved it". Funny how they liked being the underdogs last year and won the whole thing, and somehow last year they "deserved it" then as well. They earned it last year, this year they thought it should be handed to them and they earned a loss to Philadelphia. |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 10:26:20 AM "Wow! Those people were asses. I feel sorry for that guy I mean I don't really care for sports but I get how much it could mean to him."He's a blubbering pile of turd at what I assume WAS a party. He won't shut up about the giants and he's f*cking annoying the hell out of everyone. I would have gotten 8 or 9 people and rolled him out of the room at that point. |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 2:22:44 AM I was going to try and ignore my ignorance of sports and listen to the woe of random fan but I scrolled down and read the comment and have to say wow the 'fan' loses that round. The (author? poster? person?) person definitely has his points straight in my books. |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 1:39:49 AM Wow! Those people were asses. I feel sorry for that guy I mean I don't really care for sports but I get how much it could mean to him. Anyway I bet he was upset about his team losing for sometime and all which could be the reason why everyone was "trying to calm" him down. But yelling in his face and insulting him and insulting him like that is not right. This video made me angry >=( |

Saturday, January 31, 2009 1:01:48 AM That last guy was a total useless dick. I wouldn't even act like that towards a friend, let alone a stranger. |

Friday, January 30, 2009 11:33:46 PM "How many BRs did I just piss off?" Is that short for IABers?People who watch the superbowl: ~105 Million. 97% in the US. People who watch the world cup: 3 Billion, with 1.5 Billion watching any given match. The opening match 2006 had 17 times more people watching than total population of the two countries playing (Germany and Costa Rica). Football vs American Football? Pffft. You lost this fight before it ever begun. |

Friday, January 30, 2009 11:00:44 PM I like that term: Asshat. I think I'll start using it more. Also, "we were the best team in the NFL! We deserve (another Super Bowl trophy)!"And all this time I've suffered under the delusion that you only "deserve" a Super Bowl trophy if you win all your playoff games and the Super Bowl. Now I find out that it's really the regular season that matters the most. Interesting. |

Friday, January 30, 2009 10:26:46 PM "Suddenly, the foreheads of every Giants fan who has ever lived has made it to the top of my list of places that I would like to rub my ball sack."most absurdly hilarious thing i have read all week and yeah i agree with you gloostick. i also have an issue with the fact that the goal that is most often taught to the players is to win, rather than to play the game well. the second mentality leads to a sport being more recognized as an art form. |

Friday, January 30, 2009 9:22:06 PM @ amaqdrinker: thanks for pointing that out! i was hoping someone would open something up to discuss!you are right, fans(actually superfans) for the most part are putting an exaggerated amount of energy into, well, whatever they are too into! and competition is absolutely an art form. my problem with sports is that the players and fans are taught to submit to the authority of the screaming coach(a-hole parents/preachers), and to their teammates (peer pressure). the god-like voices of the play-by-play announcers is also offensive to me, not because they dont know what they are talking about, but because of the direct control they exercise over the audiences' perception of the action. i understand that these things dont make all players and fans complete tools (some people come out of sports as very strong minded individuals), but i still feel that for the vast majority of the time, these control mechanisms help to ingrain obedience into people and indoctrinate them into the re |

Friday, January 30, 2009 9:10:25 PM I'm glad someone finally had the testicular fortitude to give that nutless douche bag a piece of their mind. Personally I wouldn't have been so easy on him. The only thing that could have made the ending better is if he had gotten bitch slapped for being the tool factory that he is.Suddenly, the foreheads of every Giants fan who has ever lived has made it to the top of my list of places that I would like to rub my ball sack. |

Friday, January 30, 2009 8:54:36 PM The girl arguing with him is wayyyy worse than the guy himself. Why in the world would you want to argue with this guy? Just leave him alone and let him get his fit over with. |
