Thursday, January 15, 2009 1:44:51 AM Great. 1000 years. Time it took to use up 1/3rd of the total oil on the planet: 50 years. Time it will take to use up the other 2/3rds: Another 50 years or so. Just 950 years of no energy then. Seriously IAB. Math and Wiki, Wiki and math. Learn to use the two and I won't even post anything anymore. |

Tuesday, January 13, 2009 11:32:55 PM Yeah, I'm all for drilling everywhere we can, but we have to admit that eventually it will run out, and when it does we better have some other reliable forms of energy or we're in a lot of trouble. |

Tuesday, January 13, 2009 4:00:35 PM There's still deeper oil, and oil in places we havent drilled yet. I've read where there's enough oil in ANWAR to last 1000 years.Drill baby drill? |

Tuesday, January 13, 2009 1:50:42 PM auburnjunky, are you serious? I hope not. I'm not an environmentalist in the least but even I know we do not have an unlimited oil supply. After the animals die it takes thousands and thousands of years to form. The oil we have today is mostly from prehistoric algae and plankton. |

Monday, January 12, 2009 10:01:06 PM WAT?There. Is. No. Energy. Crisis. The EPA (and other similar agencies worldwide) want us to lower our energy dependence. We come up with ways to have cleaner energy (nucular, lol) and they say "No too risky". Then we come up with other ways (clean coal = no emissions) and they say "No it's coal". They say, at our current rate of consumption, we will run out of oil in 50 years. Why? Did animals (whos decaying flesh provides that sweet, sweet crude that we love so much) just stop dying all of a sudden? We have an UNLIMITED supply of oil, but it is so, so not PC to use oil, so bad bad us for using it. Find another source. Maybe we can use the sun? No, not cost effective. Maybe we can use wind? No,not cost effective. My point. Don't ban something just for the sake of banning something. FIND ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE that we ALL AGREE ON! Until then, shut the hell up and let me have my SUV and BIG TV. Pump that oil and burn that coal. It makes no difference. |

Monday, January 12, 2009 5:12:26 PM "When will the greenies realize that global warming is not real and there is no energy crisis?"Yes, and we're winning the war on drugs and Iraq went exactly liked we planned. Also, Bush is Mother Teresa reincarnated and I'm pretty sure Obama is the anti-Christ. |

Monday, January 12, 2009 3:39:49 PM Wow, they're passing a legislative bill based on a fictional change in the Earth. Just, wow. The European Union is a clusterdrat of idiots disguising themselves as new age pseudo-intellectuals. Don't worry, they'll be the first ones to go. |

Monday, January 12, 2009 9:44:33 AM Well well, I think TKD Master wins the award for biggest dickhead on the site...'hey, Europe, that is exactally why you guys suck. oh, and your accent doesn't help your cause either, cheerio!' You think the whole of Europe has one accent? Dear God... And yeah, admisaok, it's true that America gets a fair bit of bad mouthing in England. Which is not to say I hate Americans. I just hate going on Xbox LIVE and get mocked for the way I pronounce words |
